Music is my life
I've been making music for around three years now. I grew up in Minneapolis, MN. I Went to high school at Minneapolis Washburn, and received my Bachelors from Hamline University in St.Paul MN. Growing up I was always playing sports; Hockey, Baseball, Boxing, Football, etc. I never seemed to have time for myself an never seemed to genuinely love what I was doing, and was too nervous to try anything out of my comfort zone. After High School I decided to continue my Football career and play in college. I played up until the beginning of my Junior year and then decided it was just way too much for me and was hurting me way more than it was benefiting. After I decided to stop playing football I reconnected with a life long friend who I had lost touch with for a couple years. Once we reconnected I showed him some recordings I had done on my karaoke app K Smule (I would sing and rap songs on this app whenever I had free time, just for fun). He then started saying I should freestyle with him so I did, I wasn't very good at first, but still I loved it and there was no one there to judge me but him. So I practiced for my whole Junior year. The Summer before Senior year of College is when me and Caleb finally started writing songs, and we did this all summer and all throughout Senior year. I graduated from Hamline in May 2017 in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Legal Studies. I have had some extremely low times in my life, and each time my life was saved by music, it's at this point I know that music was what I was put on this Earth to do and what I loved to do. I made a promise to myself Junior year of college I will never go back to my ways of being in fear of the judgement of others.
